Generally the ideal female height is considered as Five feet and Eight inches. The female is quite narrow when comparing to male and two heads at the widest point.

By comparing with male the nipple are slightly lower than male. The waistline will one head unit and the navel will come below the waist line. The elbow will be above the navel. From viewing front view the thighs are slightly wider than the armpits. In some case the length of the legs below the knee level will be long. The approximate height of the female head is 8,1/4 inches. From the chin level if we take quarter size of the head from the chin level, then it will be the shoulder line. From the nipple and if we take one head means then we can get the navel level.
Generally the girls will have shorter legs and heavier thighs. If you note carefully you can find the navel level of the female is below the waistline and the male above the waist line.

First draw the head of desired size (ideal proportion is nine inches). The size of the shoulders is quarter head from the chin level. Then mark seven head units from the bottom of chin level. For the reference I have given the numbers in each part. The first part contains head, second contains chest, third takes the upper portion of the waist, the forth takes the waist, fifth takes the buttocks and half of the thighs, the sixth contains the knee and lower part of the thighs, the seventh takes the calves and the eighth contains the foot and toe. An ideal male proportion contains one head between the two nipples and one head unit of height will be between the nipples and navel.
For the male the lower legs are back of plumb line. (The line which bisects the figure) One head unit will be across the calves in front view.
Even its male of female proportion, some of the measurements are same for both. The width of the calves are one head unit. The space between the two nipples and the width of the waist are one head unit. The width of the shoulders along the arms are two head units.
